Creative direction, for me, has never been about being the loudest voice in the room or the singular “creative genius.” It has always been about seeing the full picture, understanding the business goals, listening to the people around me and building something stronger through teamwork. I lead in a very democratic and collaborative way, and I think that shows in the work.

Multifaceted – In my current role, I wear multiple hats: creative director, project manager, photographer and designer. It is a lot for one person, but it has shaped me into someone who can lead with clarity, solve problems quickly and keep a high standard even when resources are tight. I know the value I bring because I can bridge strategy, relationships, execution and vision all at once.

Imposter Syndrome – I will admit I deal with that little voice that says "are you even good at this, do you even know what you're doing" at times (jk often). When you work across so many disciplines, it is easy to feel like you are “pretty good” at everything and not a perfect expert in one thing. But I have learned that creative leadership is not about perfection in a single craft. It is about direction, intention and the ability to guide a team toward something meaningful while keeping morale high in demanding environments.

Sub-Par Self-Content Creator – This section of my portfolio is my attempt to document that process. I am not always great at capturing the behind-the-scenes moments or promoting myself while I am in the middle of getting it done, but the work here represents the approach I bring to creative direction: thoughtful, collaborative, and strategic in moving the brand forward with meaningful purpose.
